I genuinely think food is the best thing on earth.
It can be seen as a partner, a medium to sharing moments of love and laughter, it brings people closer, it solves problems too. Learning to appreciate food was a big issue for me simply because of my relationship with food. It started as a toxic relationship from a very young age, and slowly reached a point with ups and downs and today I decided to put it all on a random website where I get to share thoughts and feelings. I find it inspiring being able to share my experience with anyone really. I am sure some of you may relate to what I am going through. Moments of guilt and regrets for eating too much, moments of extreme happiness for eating the right things and moments of satisfaction for eating the right things after exercising. My relationship with food is so special that I am constantly trying to nurture it and optimise it toward something healthy and sustainable. It's hard. But I try!
