  1. Ottoloenghi (Rovi/Nopi): I find it interesting to have an Italian name with middle eastern food. Rovi has this special vibe, warm atmosphere but also it's a very modern-looking restaurant. I focused on veggi dishes, which I found fresh and tasty. The grilled halibut was SO good with an Indian curry touch which made it spicy and fresh at the same time... Finally the desserts were not the best... the tangerine & coconut and the chocolate fudge were not ideal.

  2. Barbary [Covent Garden]: Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in London. They also hold Palomar and I think it's exquisite. This North African/middle eastern mix is incredible. The food is SO good, there's everything you need. The menu so simple it's not hard to make an easy choice... and finally the dessert... a pistachio tart that I could not stop eating! OVERALL, incredible culinary experience.

  3. Bala Baya [Southwark]: Israeli food, straight from Tel Aviv. The restaurant is very cute and appealing... the food is WOW. The desserts I could die for that babka! Highly recommend.

  4. Palomar [Soho]: From the Barbary family, in the heart of Soho. I enjoyed it but not as much as Barbary. I think it's still a nice restaurant worth trying. The food is pretty oki!

  5. Oklava [Shoreditch]: Turkish tapas style - very expensive - small portions....

  6. Honey & Co [Warren St]: Best for brunch or late lunch on a Sunday. Very delicious food overall! Modern take on Lebanese food...

  7. Abd el Wahab [Mayfair]: If you're looking for a fun, authentic Lebanese, this is your go to! I loved the vibe but also their service is super good and friendly.

  8. Nutshell [Soho]: Iranian restaurants - in the heart of Soho - very cute and cosy vibe with delicious food. Although the portions are quite small, the food I found original and delicious. For instance, their hummus is quite special, the halibut super delicious with a pear cream and the Kado tart tatin was amazing! But what I died for was the pistachio, date and nuts tart which was too good to be true.

  9. Aline [Mayfair]: Classic Lebanese in front of Maddox in the heart of Mayfair. Authentic, warm, cute and cosy overall.

  10. Delamina [Mayfair]: Very sophisticated Middle Eastern food. They have delicious food and desserts. Drinks are super oki too!
